Apple revealed price reductions for the iPhone 15 and iPhone 14 models. Also, in the face of growing competition and market saturation, it has released the updated prices for the iPhone 16 series. The brand is facing huge pressure to make its premium products more accessible to larger populations. Currency fluctuations and other international factors have come into play for this major price drop.
Considerable low cost
The Apple iPhone 16 series is currently on sale. The iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max come under Apple’s most anticipated and claimed to be AI-powered iPhone 16 series. At the launch of this series, Tim Cook revealed many mind-blowing updates in smartphones. The price of the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus from the previous year is Rs 79,900 and Rs 89,900, respectively. This price range has been maintained by Apple owing to its retailing policy. But, compared to the launch prices of the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, the Pro variants, the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max, have been said to be Rs 10,000 less expensive.
Reduced price for last-generation models
Similar to previous years, Apple lowered the price of its last-generation models shortly following the release of the iPhone 16 series. In India, Apple formally revealed price reductions for the iPhone 14 and iPhone 15. As per the sources from Apple, these slashes in prices which range from Rs 10,000 to Rs 20,000, present a fantastic opportunity for people to own these high-end smartphones at more reasonable costs.
For iPhone 15
The starting price of the iPhone 15 is Rs 69,900. The entry-level 128GB edition of the iPhone 15, which was released last year, is now available for Rs 69,900 instead of Rs 79,900. The price of the 128GB model of the iPhone 15 Plus was reduced by Rs 10,000, making it an affordable deal available for Rs 79,900.
Price drops for the iPhone 14 and iPhone 16 base models
After two years of release, the price of the iPhone 14 has dropped even further. After a significant price reduction from Rs 79,900 at introduction in 2022, the base 128GB model is now offered for Rs 59,900. It cost Rs 69,900 when the iPhone 16 was first released. The 128GB model of Apple’s most recent iPhone 16 series costs Rs 79,900, while the iPhone 16 Plus starts at Rs 89,900 in India.
Pro and Pro Max series
iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max have also been seen to undergo price drops and can be availed by anyone at the price range of Rs 1,19,900 and Rs 1,44,900, respectively. These are indeed the premium products that come at expensive rates. The base storage capacity of the iPhone 16 Pro is 128GB, while the base edition of the iPhone 16 Pro Max is 256GB. The launch costs of the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone Pro Max models from last year, which were initially Rs 1,34,900 and Rs 1,59,900, respectively, are noticeably higher than these rates.
